Review

I was lucky enough to receive this book from the author. I hope the prospective reader will read this review fully before making any prejudgments on the book. I will give the book my thoughts. These thoughts are completely my own and not swayed in any way by anyone else’s reviews or opinions.

I have read several collections from this author. I liked every one in it’s own way. This was interesting and intriguing like all of the other collections. I have stated this in the past, but poetry has never been my go-to. I find that there are a lot of story issues and I tend to not be interested. However, there is something about this author that makes the collections so special. I find that it is interesting to read different takes on poetry.

There is something that is prominent in the author’s works. Even though they are a collection of poems, there is one theme that runs through the whole collection. The author really takes the time and the effort to make the reader feel the theme. That is something that I think a reader needs to experience. You are not just reading the poetry, but experiencing it as well.

My Rating: I rate this collection 4 out of 5 stars. I believe that this is an excellent written collection. As someone who doesn’t like poetry, I must say that I may read more if they are written like this. I am hoping to see more of this incredibly talented author in the future.
