Review
I was lucky enough to receive this book from the author. I hope the prospective reader will read this review fully before making any prejudgments on the book. I will give the book my thoughts. These thoughts are completely my own and not swayed in any way by anyone else’s reviews or opinions.
The synopsis for this book tells it all. You should expect the unexpected. Here I am just sitting and reading this book and thinking that a vacation is coming. I should have known better. There is a war brewing and there is a chance to be on top. Of course, Rome and his team need to be as prepared as they can be. Like the first two books, I absolutely love the action and adventure involved. There are so many twists and turns that make this book such a fun read.
My favorite moments follow Julian and Rome. This is interesting to me, as a reader, since I don’t always enjoy repeat books with the same characters. I was excited to read the third book. Like the second, I was hoping to match the exhilaration of the first book. The second book matches it and, in this book, expect more. I was riding this ride I didn’t want to end. I was happy to get the opportunity to know more about Rome and especially Julian.
My Rating: I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I love that we are constantly learning more. I never want these adventures to end and I find myself sad for thinking it could be over soon. I feel that the reader, of all ages, can read this and learn more. It is just amazing to read the emotions that each character has and the development is just wonderfully organic. I encourage you to read this series. You will never be disappointed.
