In twenty stories, you will find true love in a variety of genres and styles, from first kisses to second chances, on epic journeys and in bittersweet moments. Nine of these stories feature main characters who identify as LGBTQ+.

In this first flash fiction anthology of A Season for Romance: Spring Blossoms, the characters in our stories are just starting to acknowledge their budding feelings for one another. There is beauty, tenderness, angst, and even humor in these carefully crafted stories meant to transport you to distant, fantastical worlds where love is just moments away.

We hope you enjoy them.

Review

I was lucky enough to receive this book from the author. I hope the prospective reader will read this review fully before making any prejudgments on the book. I will give the book my thoughts. These thoughts are completely my own and not swayed in any way by anyone else’s reviews or opinions.

Anthologies are not something I read all the time and honestly, not something that I go to often. I am the type who likes to read stories from beginning to end. In this case, I found that I enjoyed the stories. I want the authors to be able to go into more and maybe develop these characters in other series as well. I did find a group of authors that I just genuinely enjoy reading.

As someone who truly loves romance, this will fill all of those boxes and so much more. I have to say that this is one of the first romance anthologies that have others in different writing areas. Cassia Hall was the author that gave me the book and it was fun to read authors that I know and authors I didn’t. This is one of many books that I have read by Hall and I have read books by Isla Ryder. This was just another set from authors I already enjoy, but I found a new one in Naito Diamond.

My Rating: I rate this anthology 4 out of 5 stars. I truly enjoyed where it was going and the addition of authors to be list of want to read. I cannot wait to see what is in store. I loved that all of the authors have so much to offer in their different writing styles. I look forward to more from everyone and am interested in their books separately.
